See What Our Customers Say

Edmonton homeowners trust Canadian Climate Control for honest, professional AC maintenance. Here is what they have to say.

Find a better heating and cooling company in Edmonton, I dare you! Simply can’t be done. Both my home and my business are looked after Canadian Climate Control.
1. I need a heater for my garage gym, they recommended a tube radiant one, as the force air wouldn’t keep the metal of the weights warm, when I moved they came to my new place and where able to reinstall the unit. The crew that came out where top notch!
2. Had a forced air heater installed in my garage last winter big garage with two big doors keeps the place so warm all winter, different crew and they where equally as professional.
3. This Summer called and asked if AC was possible in our 1942 built home, Mark came out and took a look and said no problem! Yet another set of highly capable people came by and crushed everything out in a day, works better then I ever thought.

They did such a good job on everything they even now look after my shop overhead heaters.

Overall if I could give this company a 6 star review I would!

During the 2024 heat wave that’s been ongoing, our AC quit on us. Although we were all suffering, I was worried about my 92 year old mom. Every place we called and asked if they could help us out, they were all solidly booked. When we called Mark and explained the situation, we received a service call right away. Justin came that same afternoon and although it wasn’t a major issue, the fact remains that they were able to accommodate us right away. I am so appreciative of the service from Mark and Justin. Justin took the time to explain what went wrong and patiently explained next steps. Thank you Mark and Justin for coming to our rescue especially for my mom.

October 2/2024

On the first day i turned on the heat, cold air came through. Since I had to use their services in the summer and was very satisfied, I called Mark right away as my elderly mom was extremely cold. Justin came on the same day after completing his job and found that we needed a new circuit. He ordered one right away and thank goodness was able to have it working the very next day. One hopes we don’t have too many issues with our heating and cooling systems, but if we do, Mark and Justin from Canadian Climate Control Services are great to have on speed dial. Thank you guys!!

This company has some of the best service and professionalism I’ve ever seen. We called with a heat pump issue and talked with Justin. Within a short time he was on site, fixed the issue and took extra time to explain what was done and gave us some ideas of preventative maintenance that would extend the life of our unit. The cost was very reasonable as well. Over and above the best customer service. Highly recommend this company and would certainly use them in the future if needed.

Wow, amazing support! We have used Canadian Climate Control in the past and received excellent service. Today, Justin spent 16 minutes with me on the phone helping me troubleshoot the problem instead of charging me to inspect himself. I have an old system that I am trying to get to last a few more years. I appreciate the professional support!

Why AC Maintenance Matters in Edmonton

Edmonton’s climate is hard on air conditioning systems. Long winters mean your AC sits idle for months, collecting dust and losing efficiency. Then summer hits and you need it to perform immediately.

Without regular maintenance, you are more likely to face a breakdown on the hottest day of the year. Dirty filters restrict airflow. Low refrigerant makes your system work harder. Worn electrical connections can fail without warning.

Annual maintenance catches these problems before they leave you sweating. It also keeps your manufacturer warranty valid, since most warranties require proof of regular servicing.

What Our AC Maintenance Includes

Every AC maintenance visit from Canadian Climate Control is thorough and honest. We do not rush through a checklist. We take the time to properly inspect, clean, and test your system so it runs at peak performance when you need it most.

AC Tune-Up & Inspection

Our annual tune-up covers everything your system needs to run efficiently. We check and clean the condenser and evaporator coils, inspect the refrigerant charge, test electrical connections, clean or replace filters, check the thermostat calibration, and verify proper airflow. If anything needs attention, we let you know before doing any additional work.

Filter Replacement & Cleaning

A dirty filter is the most common reason an air conditioner underperforms. It restricts airflow, forces your system to work harder, and drives up energy costs. We check your filters during every maintenance visit and replace them as needed. We will also show you the right filter type and replacement schedule for your specific system.

Coil & Condensate Cleaning

Over time, your condenser and evaporator coils collect dirt, dust, and debris. Dirty coils reduce your system’s ability to transfer heat, which means it runs longer and harder to cool your home. We clean both the indoor and outdoor coils and clear the condensate drain line to prevent water damage and mould growth.

Commercial AC Maintenance

We maintain commercial air conditioning systems throughout Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Nisku, and Leduc. Rooftop units, split systems, and large-scale cooling equipment. Whether you need a one-time service call or an ongoing maintenance contract, we provide reliable, straightforward service with no sales pressure.

What to Expect From Your AC Maintenance Visit

At Canadian Climate Control, we make AC maintenance straightforward. No surprises, no hidden fees, no unnecessary upsells.

AC Maintenance FAQ

Once a year is the standard recommendation. The best time is spring, before you need your system for the summer. Annual maintenance keeps your AC running efficiently and helps prevent unexpected breakdowns during the hottest weeks of the year.

Skipping maintenance leads to reduced efficiency, higher energy bills, and a shorter system lifespan. Dirty coils and clogged filters make your AC work harder than it needs to. Small issues that would be caught during a tune-up can turn into expensive repairs if left unchecked. You may also void your manufacturer warranty.

A standard maintenance visit typically takes about one hour. If we find anything that needs additional attention, we will let you know and discuss your options before doing any extra work.

Yes. A well-maintained system runs more efficiently than a neglected one. Clean coils, proper refrigerant levels, and good airflow mean your AC does not have to work as hard to cool your home. Most homeowners notice a difference in their summer energy costs after a proper tune-up.

Yes, we offer maintenance plans for both residential and commercial customers. A plan ensures your system gets serviced on schedule and can include priority booking. Contact us and we will walk you through the options.

We serve Edmonton and the surrounding area including Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Leduc, and Nisku. Contact us if you are unsure whether your location is in our service area.

Absolutely. Regular maintenance is especially important for older systems. It helps extend the life of the unit and gives us a chance to spot problems before they become emergencies. If your system is nearing the end of its life, we will tell you honestly so you can plan ahead rather than face a surprise replacement.
